Egghead Cafe Opens San Ramon Location

The San Jose chain features a long menu of delicious egg sandwiches.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon will soon be able to start the day off right with all varieties of egg treats at the Egghead Café, a Silicon Valley chain that is opening its first Tri-Valley location in San Ramon on June 1.

As its name suggests, the restaurant serves all variety of eggs, all day long. The menu includes items like “The Scramble” sandwich, which mixes scrambled eggs, chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and spicy mayo in a warm brioche bun; or the Breakfast Burger, which combines eggs, ground angus beef, cheddar cheese, arugula, caramelized onion, and spicy mayo. Diners can also order eggs on their own, like a poached egg on top of smooth potato purée, topped with bacon and chives, or a salad with scrambled eggs, arugula, tomato, chopped bacon, shaved parmesan, and house vinaigrette.

Each item can be ordered with sides of tater tots, avocados, bacon, waffle fries, ground angus beef patty, or tomato slices.

The menu also includes a variety of different teas and coffees, as well as fresh-squeezed orange juice.

The San Ramon location is hosting its grand opening on June 1 at 2475 San Ramon Valley Boulevard, where guests can buy one item to get 50% off another item.
