They Found Luke! He Was With Another Dog — Named Luke
The San Ramon family lost their 7-year-old Labrador at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday but found him later in the night..

They found him.
Reader Renae Wilber told San Ramon Patch the following in an email:
"This is the craziest story but a family on another street found Luke (not knowing his name) so they took him inside and let them hang out with their dog, whose name happened to also be Luke.

Word got around that the family on Broadmoor was looking for their dog, so when they showed up to pick up Luke, both Luke's were sleeping on the bed in the house of the people that found him.
So, a story with a happy ending. I just love those."

Here was our original story on the missing Labrador:
A San Ramon family is searching for their missing dog.
The yellow Labrador, named Luke, went missing around 2:30 p.m. near the vicinity of California High School (Broadmoor and Kittery). Luke is wearing only a black collar. He's seven years old and extremely friendly.
The owner wrote in an email, "He is a part of the family and we all appreciate the help."
