SAN RAMON, CA — Hundreds of protesters gathered along Bollinger Canyon Road outside San Ramon City Hall Saturday for a Hands Off! rally protesting Trump administration policies. The nationwide day of protest also saw a rally in downtown Livermore and 15 others across the Bay Area.

The San Ramon rally was organized by Indivisible Tri-Valley, a local progressive activist organization, in collaboration with national and local organizations. The group has also organized protests at the Tesla dealership in Dublin, and against proposed plans to turn the former FCI Dublin into an ICE detention facility.

“We refuse to stand by while the very foundations of our democracy are undermined for corporate greed and political gain. We will not be silent as our rights and resources are stripped away,” the group said in a statement. “Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.”
