SAN RAMON, CA — The City of San Ramon plans to close a portion of Alcosta Boulevard for two weeks amid a roadway improvement project.

Northbound Alcosta Boulevard from Veracruz Drive to about 400 feet north of Pine Valley Court will be closed from Aug. 30 to Sept. 13. Detour signs will be in place and drivers are advised to use caution.

The work is part of the city's Alcosta Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation Project, which is slated for completion in October. Crews will make pavement repairs, complete asphalt concrete resurfacing, re-stripe the pavement and more.
