San Ramon is one of 11 Bay Area cities with over 25,000 people named as the 25 wealthiest in the country based on median household income.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon is the 25th wealthiest community with over 25,000 residents in the country based on median household income five-year estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey analyzed in a report from 24/7 Wall St.
San Ramon has a median household income of $173,519 and a 2023 median home value of $1,536,120, according to the survey and Zillow, respectively. Its home value was ranked the 37th highest in the country. With a population of 85,688, San Ramon also has the highest population of the Top 25 list.
Bay Area cities comprised 11 cities in the Top 25 list, including the number one spot. Danville ranked 17th, with a median household income of $181,453, and a median house value of $1,869,416. Dublin ranked 26th, and Pleasanton came in at 32nd.
