Fire Engulfs Car In San Ramon After Crash Into Tree: Report

The San Ramon firefighters were able to extinguish the flames that completely enveloped a car after a crash.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon Valley firefighters responded to an accident that resulted in a car fire Wednesday in San Ramon, and required one patient to be hospitalized, authorities said.

Engine 30 of the SRVD responded to an accident involving a silver Honda Wednesday, firefighters said. Once arriving, they found the car had struck a small tree and was on fire.

Everyone had escaped the vehicle, but one person had to be transported to the hospital to further evaluate their injuries, firefighters said.
