San Ramon 'Culture In The Community' Accepting Applications

Applications are available for cultural booths and performances for the city's multicultural festival in January.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon is currently accepting applications for the next Culture in the Community Celebration, which is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Dougherty Station Community Arts Center.

The seventh annual celebration is billed as a “staycation to the wonderfully diverse world in our own backyard,” featuring multicultural performances on two stages, cultural booths from around the world, cultural workshops on art, music and dance; and children’s crafts and games. Attendees are encouraged to wear clothing representing their country of origin. Admission and parking are free.

Anyone interested in performing should complete this online application by Friday, Oct. 11. Anyone interested in hosting a cultural booth should complete this application by Friday, Nov. 1.
