San Ramon Little League All-Stars Ease into Sectional Championship Game

The San Ramon 11- and 12-year-old All-Stars won its first two game of the sectional tournament in Hillsborough over the weekend and will play for the championship Tuesday.

San Ramon eased by Mission San Jose 11-1 and San Leandro 12-0. San Ramon will try to win its third straight Section 3 title when they meet the Monday's winner of the San Leandro/Foster City game.

The power hitting of San Ramon overwhelmed the competition on Saturday and Sunday, hitting eight home runs in the two games combined.

The pitching has been equally as good. San Ramon only surrendering three hits in the two games. Ben Wooldridge and Zach Chalmers picked up the wins.
