San Ramon residents near Bollinger Canyon were asked to stay inside as police looked for a man wanted on a Florida homicide charge.
SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Police Department arrested Tuesday a man charged in a Florida homicide case following an hours-long search and shelter-in-place alert.
The alert was issued at 2:10 p.m. for people near Bollinger Canyon Road from Briar Oaks to North Monarch drives as police searched for Reynaldo John Sanchez, 22, who was wanted on a warrant in Broward County, Florida.
Police announced his arrest around 8 p.m., just over an hour after police notified residents that people in the area were no longer asked to stay inside, though the search continued. Police said at the time of his arrest that he would be booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.
