Trumark Co-Founders Inducted Into CA Homebuilding Hall Of Fame
Michael Maples and Gregg Nelson were inducted into the California Homebuilding Foundation's Hall of Fame.

SAN RAMON, CA - Michael Maples and Gregg Nelson, the co-founders of Trumark Companies, were inducted into the California Homebuilding Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Now in its 35th year, the Hall of Fame Gala honors professionals who exemplify the foundation’s mission of “forging a bright future for the next generation of homebuilders.”
Maples and Nelson started Trumark Companies together in 1988. For 35 years, the company has spearheaded a number of award-winning projects, including Wallis Ranch, The Pacific, and The Collective. In 2008, the pair launched Trumark Homes, which has developed more than 4,000 homes across California. In 2020, the company entered into an agreement with Japan-based Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd., which acquired a majority interest. This allowed Trumark the company to begin its first projects outside California, in northern Colorado.
Trumark has also been active in charitable work. Trumark Homes supports housing nonprofits like CBIA, the California Homebuilding Foundation, and regional HomeAid chapters. It has also served as the builder captain for Crosswinds Church’s Tiny Home Village, which provides shelter to 28 previously unhoused individuals in Livermore.
