Bonny Doon Brush Fires Contained Sunday
Fire officials said the Warren Fire started with a structure fire on Warren Drive that spread to nearby vegetation.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Fire crews contained several vegetation fires burning in the community of Bonny Doon Sunday, according to Cal Fire's San Mateo-Santa Cruz unit.
Santa Cruz County Fire, Scotts Valley Fire District, Central Fire District, Aptos/La Selva Fire District and Zayante Fire District responded to the Smith and Warren fires. The Warren Fire started with a structure fire on Warren Drive that spread to nearby vegetation. Additional fires broke out on the Smith Grade.
