Communities Invited to Santa Cruz Garage Sale Weekend

From the City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department:

Dozens of households are registered for the City of Santa Cruz Garage Sale Weekend, happening June 4-5. The event promotes reuse, repair and resale opportunities and offers shoppers an online garage sale treasure map with a free mobile app for locating specific items and mapping their route.

Bargain hunters can find wing-back chairs, a Bose sound system, soccer gear and Ralph Lauren suits at garage sales throughout town. Antiques, kayaks and bicycles are also listed on the garage sale treasure map. Bright, yellow, street signs will lead shoppers to Garage Sale Weekend treasures and bargains.

Registration to host a sale closes on Thursday, June 2 at 5 p.m.
