'Constant Crook' Arrested In Stolen Car: SCPD

Alexander Madson was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, according to Santa Cruz police.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A man with two felony arrest warrants was taken into custody in Santa Cruz on Saturday after police allegedly found him in a stolen car, police said. Officers pulled over a man in a vehicle in the 800 block of Water Street at 7:30 p.m. while patrolling the area.

Alexander Madson, 32, from Santa Cruz, stopped his vehicle and officers detained him without incident. Police said the Ford Explorer he was in had been reported stolen earlier on Saturday in the west side of Santa
Cruz.

Madson was arrested on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle, possessing stolen property, being released on his own recognizance and committing a felony, other misdemeanor drug and theft-related offenses and
two outstanding felony warrants.
