The Santa Cruz Art League (SCAL) proudly presents its 58th annual High School Art Show May 3 - 26th at the SCAL Gallery at 526 Broadway, Santa Cruz www.scal.org 831-426-5787. The Gallery is open Wed. - Sat. 12 to 5 PM, Sunday 12-4 and open especially for first Friday until 9PM. Come have appetizers and beverages and preview this magnificent show with over 700 works from the Seniors of 15 high school, charters schools and special needs schools. Admission is always free. The Art League has presented over $2000 in scholarships to forward the careers of the prize winning graduating students.
Come again to our reception Sat May 11 from 3 to 5 and shake hands with the actual artists. These youth are at the forefront of the art scene. They are both cutting edge and forward looking. Come and meet the future Picassos, Andy Warhols and Dale Chilhulys of the up and coming generation. Our local Senior are worthy of our pride. Come, and see and enjoy!
