Man Had More Than A Pound Of Meth In Santa Cruz Apartment, Police Say
BREAKING: Guillermo Garcia, 42, was arrested after officers served a warrant an apartment in Santa Cruz, police said.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Police in Santa Cruz arrested a man Thursday who they suspect of having more than a pound of methamphetamine that he was allegedly trying to sell, according to police officials.
At about 4:30 a.m., officers arrested Guillermo Garcia, 42, at an apartment in the 2300 block of Portola Drive after serving a warrant based on suspected drug sales, police said. Officers found the meth and a handgun with several high capacity magazines in the apartment, according to police.
Police said they detained two people but only arrested Garcia.
