Man Slashed In Neck; Sheriff's Office Seeks Assailant
A man is expected to be OK after his assailant approached him and slashed his neck, the sheriff's office said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office is investigating an assault that occurred last Sunday.
On Sunday at 1 p.m. the victim was in the 100 block of Keystone Way when an unknown man approached the victim and slashed him in the neck with a knife. The victim suffered injuries that were not considered life threatening and is expected to be okay, according to the sheriff's office.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with sandy blonde hair with a comb over. The suspect appeared clean cut and was wearing a black and red soccer-style jersey with yellow lettering and tan pants.
