Monterey Motorcyclist Killed In Santa Cruz Crash

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A motorcyclist died late Thursday morning in unincorporated Santa Cruz County when he rode into some wires, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just before noon on westbound Bear Creek Road east of Bear Creek Way.
The victim, a 64-year-old man from Monterey, died where he crashed. He was riding a 2008 BMW R1200GS.
