SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Residents of unincorporated Santa Cruz County can apply for money to help pay for rent and/or utilities that are in arrears due to the COVID-19 pandemic, county officials said Monday.

Applications can be filed until Oct. 14 at www.cabinc.org. The money is to help residents who have lost income due to the pandemic and whose home is at risk because they haven't been able to pay rent or utilities.

The assistance is limited to residents whose annual income is no more than 80 percent of the area median income, which for a one-person household is $74,350, according to county officials.
