The San Francisco motorcyclist was ejected from his bike after a Los Gatos woman crashed into him, CHP said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A 59-year-old San Francisco motorcyclist was killed Saturday evening in a Davenport crash on southbound State Route 1.
Lisa Skrzynecki, 59, of Los Gatos was driving behind the motorcyclist, just south of Waddell Creek, when she failed to see the motorcycle ahead of her and crashed into its back around 5 p.m., according to a news release from the California Highway Patrol. It's unclear why she did not see the motorcycle, according to CHP.
The man was ejected from his motorcycle and succumbed to his injuries. Efforts to save his life at the scene of the crash were not effective.
