Need $10,000? Help Solve A Local Whodunit
A Santa Cruz resident is offering a $10,000 reward to the person that can help find the burglar(s) who stole personal items last October.

SANTA CRUZ - Perhaps Lt. Columbo will find a way out of retirement, chew on an old cigar, and go after the $10,000 reward a Santa Cruz resident will pay for information leading to the arrest of the burglar(s) who stole jewelry and family heirlooms from a home on Western Drive.
Or maybe you'll be the lucky sleuth.
According to a post on the Santa Cruz Police blog, a significant amount of jewelry; several watches, including a Rolex; gold coins; and family heirlooms were taken from the home in the 1100 block of Western Drive.

Police say the residential burglary occurred sometime on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
According to police, the burglary victim came home to find that someone had broken into the house and taken jewelry and valuable keepsakes.

The $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction(s) of any person or persons responsible for the burglary and recovery of stolen property.
Santa Cruz Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact their Investigations Unit at (831) 420-5820.

Santa Cruz Police also say that residents should document or photograph their valuables, especially jewelry, and electronics.
