At least one person was killed when a vehicle careened down an
embankment in a remote along the Santa Clara-Santa Cruz county line,
according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 7:37 p.m. Thursday on Skyline Boulevard near
state Route 9, the CHP said.

The vehicle was found 60 feet down an embankment on the right side
of the road. Crews are continuing to work on getting the vehicle back to the road tonight.
