Out-Of-State, Out Of Luck On A Santa Cruz North Coast Beach

Calls from area residents about people sleeping in cars along the North Coast beach area resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old man.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY - Calls from residents about people sleeping in cars along the North Coast beach area resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old man who allegedly held more than 1,000 grams of Butane Honey Oil, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's office.

Deputies who responded to the area say they stopped a truck with out-of-state plates parked in the Bonny Doon Road area to check on the welfare of people inside the vehicle.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies found 22-year-old Trevor Page, a man with a felony warrant for his arrest.

The sheriff's office says Page had 1,264 grams of Butane Honey Oil and more than $3000 in cash in his possession.

Trevor Page was arrested with the intent to sell.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's office says it wants to thank the community for working with them, and remind residents to call 9-1-1 whenever they see something suspicious.
