A pass from 3 yards out with 8 seconds left was the difference in a tight game between the Soquel Knights and the Scotts Valley Falcons Saturday.

The lead changed six times, with long runs that seemed effortless by Soquel's Fabiano Hale and the Falcons' Ari Wargin. But it was a rare pass from Lucas Cordoza to Trestan Peacock that made the difference.

Soquel moved to 5-1, 2-0 in league play, while Scotts Valley fell to 1-4 and 0-1 in league play.
