Photo of the Day: Where Hippies Once Stood....Gun Advocates Took the Corners Saturday

Pro-Second Amenment, Anti-Gun Controllers took two corners at Ocean and Water streets Saturday, holding signs and garnering honks from passing cars.

A corner known more for anti-war signs for decades, these people held signs supporting the Second Amendment. One said, "A Free Country Ought to Have Guns," about as radical a sentiment for this busy intersection as would be a campaign to eat more meat...or maybe household pets.

So what if there were only a dozen people. It was something you might not have seen for three decades here.
