Police Looking for Man Who Assaulted Two Female Joggers

The two were assaulted on April 29. Police released this sketch May 3.

Police are looking for a man who assaulted two female joggers April 29 in the early evening on Escalona Drive and Western Drive.

The man grabbed or slapped the women's buttocks as they passed by him at 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. The first attack was at Escalona Drive near Olive Street and the second, at Western Drive near Echo Street.

Police said the man approached the women, then turned and followed them. He assaulted them and then took off running.

One of the women returned to the scene with her boyfriend and found the man. He apologized and ran away.

Police said there have been no other incidents like this and they believe both were done by the same man.

He is described as Hispanic, late teens or early 20s, 5 feet 6-7 inches with dark hair and no facial hair.
