There aren't a lot of big box stores in Santa Cruz, which is a boon and a bane. You don't have to walk through giant mazes of stuff that require a compass to find your way out of.
But there isn't always the variety or the discounts you might get elsewhere? Or is there? Where do you go for sporting goods and why?
