Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Hiring Temporary Spring Workers

The Beach Boardwalk is starting a "Work & Play" employment program aimed at hiring a team of temporary workers for 10 days this Spring.

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk amusement park is launching a new "Work & Play" employment program, aimed at hiring a team of temporary employees for 10 specific days this spring.

The new program comes with incentives for working the 10 designated days including: four free Boardwalk Season Passes; 10 free All-Day Ride Wristbands; and a flexible part-time schedule.

"Our 10-Day Work & Play Program will be attractive to anyone who can’t commit to working all summer, but would still appreciate earning extra money and Boardwalk Season Passes to share with family or friends," Boardwalk employment manager Carol Siegel explained. "We’re looking for a team of employees, ranging from students to seniors, who might enjoy the experience and appreciate the rewards of working just 10 days this spring."

Applicants for the program must be at least 18 years old, and the jobs are in Rides and Food Service departments.

The 10 weekdays needed to qualify are: April 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and May 24, 28, 29, 30, 31. Temps will need to work 4-8 hours per day between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm. The pay is $12.50/hour for Rides; $13.00/hour plus a free meal (per shift) with Food Service. Training and uniforms are provided.

Job applicants can apply online anytime, or drop by the Boardwalk for an Instant Interview Monday-Saturday. All applicants who interview will receive free parking and five free rides for their efforts.
