Santa Cruz Board Of Supervisors Elect New Chair

From Santa Cruz County Administrative Office:The County of Santa Cruz is pleased to announce that the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors has unanimously elected Supervisor John Leopold as their new chair.

“I’m very honored to once again assume the chairmanship of the Board of Supervisors,” Leopold said. “I look forward to continuing to work closely with the community and my colleagues on the Board as we move Santa Cruz County forward throughout 2017.” It is Supervisor Leopold’s second stint leading the Board. He replaces Supervisor Bruce McPherson, who served as chair during 2016.
