Santa Cruz Burglar Caught on Video

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who burglarized a home in Santa Cruz on Saturday evening.
Video surveillance footage showed the suspect was inside the Rooney Street home around 6:15 p.m., police said.

The victims came back home on Sunday and discovered the home was ransacked and electronics and tools were taken, according to police.
The suspect is described as a man with a medium to heavy build, dark hair and a mustache, police said. He wore a sweatshirt with the words “San Francisco” on the front, according to police.
