A Santa Cruz Police Twitter posting shows two surveillance images from an attempted burglary early on Saturday morning, January 9.

In the first shot, you can see the two burglars outside the jewelry store. Six seconds later, in the second picture, something appears to shatter the front door glass.
Police say the attempted burglary happened at approximately 4:44 a.m.
