Santa Cruz Bus Stabbing Believed To Be Gang-Related: Police
BREAKING: Police are looking for witnesses.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — A man was stabbed in Santa Cruz Wednesday morning in what police are investigating as a gang-related incident. The 25-year-old Santa Cruz resident was stabbed while exiting a city bus at Soquel Avenue and Darwin Street, police said.
He waved down a passerby who drove him to a hospital. The victim is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
According to witnesses, the man was being chased when he got on the bus in the 1000 block of Soquel Avenue. The suspects followed the bus in their car until the victim got off the bus, according to police.
