Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter To Offer $14 Adoptions
On Friday, the shelter will offer $14 adoption of all pets, food, and "speed petting" in a special Valentine's Day event.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Anyone looking for a bundle of love ahead of Valentine’s Day can visit the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter, which is hosting a Furry Valentine’s Day “speed petting event.”
On Friday between noon and 6 p.m., the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter on 1001 Rodriguez Street in Santa Cruz will offer $14 adoptions of all animals. Adoptable dogs will be available for “speed petting” to meet potential owners. The $14 covers spaying/neutering, microchipping, any necessary vaccinations, routine treatments for fleas/worms, and a free pet wellness exam with a local participating veterinarian.
The Furry Valentine’s Day event will also offer food from Areperia831, a vegan Venezuelan restaurant in Santa Cruz.
