Santa Cruz County Court Cuts Back On Services: Coronavirus
Essential and time-sensitive services will continue at the Santa Cruz County Superior Courthouse.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The Superior Court of Santa Cruz County is responding to COVID-19 coronavirus restrictions enacted by the county by curtailing services "to those that are essential or mandated by law to occur within a set timeframe," officials announced Monday.
"The court is in the very difficult position of trying to follow public health and safety guidelines while also attempting to maintain essential services its constitutionally charged to carry out," officials said in an announcement.
All previously scheduled traffic violation cases will be postponed for several weeks. The public is being strongly encouraged to use the online services to make payments, pay fines or check court dates. The court clerk offices in Santa Cruz and Watsonville will remain open to the public at present, however.
