Santa Cruz Police Arrest Woman Keying Cars in Parking Garage
Witnesses spotted her and called police Thursday night.
Witnesses flagged down Santa Cruz Police officers after they saw a woman keying cars at the Double Decker Garage at Cedar and Church streets at 7:50 p.m. Thursday.
Officer Carter Jones raced to the garage while officer Barnaby Clark interviewed three witnesses. Jones found a suspect, Katrina Viesca, 40, of Campbell, while she was keying a car, one of 10 the officers found were vandalized.
She was booked for felony vandalism, and officers estimated the damage at $8,000.
