SCPD Arrest Man on Bicycle for Annoying a Juvenile
The 15-year-old girl was walking on Soquel Avenue Monday, when the suspect began making inappropriate comments. She reported it to her parents, who got in touch with police.
Santa Cruz Police arrested a 54-year-old man on a bicycle who was making lewd comments to a girl walking home.
Police arrested Christopher Heeter, of Santa Cruz County, on suspicion of annoying a child. The girl was walking near Pacheco and Soquel when he began following her and making comments.
She refused to talk to him and reported the incident at 5:20 p.m. Monday when she got home.

Mr. Heeter followed her most of the way to her home. Her parents contacted the police and officers immediately responded to the area and found Heeter nearby standing behind a closed business.
