SCPD Investigating Anti-Semitic Grafitti at Jewish Cemetery

Santa Cruz Police are investigating anti-Semitic grafitti left on a tombstone at the Jewish cemetery on the 400 block of Meder Street.

The slurs – some swear words and a swastika – were written in large red paint on one gravestone, sometime between Thursday and Sunday, according to cemetery officials. Police were called to the scene at 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
