Missing Toddler Could Be Anywhere in California: Police
Police on Thursday asked for the public's help in finding 2-year-old Arianna Fitts, who reportedly has family living in the Santa Cruz area.
SAN FRANCISCO - Police in San Francisco on Thursday asked for the public's help in finding 2-year-old Arianna Fitts, who reportedly has family living in the Santa Cruz area.
Arianna and her mother Nicole Fitts were known to frequent San Francisco, San Mateo, Oakland, Emeryville, Fresno, Santa Cruz, and Silicon Valley areas as well as places in Southern California.
ABC7 reports that Nicole Fitts and her daughter lived in San Francisco, but that family lives in the Santa Cruz area.

On April 5, San Francisco police were notified that Nicole and Arianna Fitts went missing.
Three days later, on April 8, a body found in McLaren Park Friday was confirmed to be 32-year-old Nicole Fitts.

According to ABC7 News, a fellow Best Buy employee said he last talked to Nicole after her shift at the Harrison Street store on Friday, April 1. According to the station, the man said she then exchanged texts with family hours later, saying she was in Fresno.
ABC7 says that's the last time she was in contact with anyone.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, the girl's prior living arrangements have complicated the investigation into her disappearance.
"Somebody out there knows where she is," San Francisco Police Commander Greg McEachern says in the article. "We are pleading with you. Contact us. Somebody knows some information. Please help us bring home that beautiful 2 ½-year-old girl who is still missing."
