SEE: Firefighters Battle Car Fire In Westside Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA — The Santa Cruz Fire Department battled a car fire Monday morning in Westside Santa Cruz.

The car was found in a parking lot, a video posted by firefighters showed. Thick clouds of black smoke billowed into the overcast sky as firefighters fought the blaze.

The car fire was reported around 8:45 p.m.in the 700 block of Swift Street, near Ingalls Alley.
