SEE: Lost Calf 'Reunited With The Udders,' Thanks To UCSC Police

We're dairy glad to see this calf's story had a happy ending after it escaped from its pasture at UC Santa Cruz.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — The steaks were high Tuesday night for University of California, Santa Cruz police when they were notified that a calf broke loose from its pasture on the east side of campus.

Officers arrived to find the calf opposite its family, on the other side of a fence, video posted by police shows.

"Luckily, with a little convincing (and some hay) the calf turned itself in and was reunited with the udders," police said.
