Soquel Man Dies In Santa Cruz Mountains Motorcycle Crash
He went off of the road east of Scotts Valley, according to CHP.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A 57-year-old man from Soquel died Tuesday night after the motorcycle he was riding went off the road east of Scotts Valley.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a 6:39 p.m. report of the crash on Granite Creek Road south of Ventana Woods. Officers found that the man's 2012 Harley Davidson Super Glide motorcycle had been traveling southbound when, for an unknown reason, it overturned and slid off the western edge of Granite Creek Road.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries. His identity was not released pending notification of next of kin.

The CHP reports that the cause of the crash is still under investigation and that alcohol or other drugs do not appear to be a factor.
