Sunday's Chris Rene Show is Sold Out, but can be Streamed for $10

Concert promoter Sure Thing Productions came up with a way to let more people see the budding star.

Tickets to see X Factor third place finisher Chris Rene's Love Life Homecoming Celebration at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium were gone 36 hours after they went on sale last Wednesday.

But Santa Cruz producer Sure Thing Productions, headed by David Claytor, has come up with a way to give everyone a chance to watch, if not attend.

The company will broadcast the event on a live stream at Chris Rene's website. For those who just awoke from a 20-year nap, that means you can only see it on your computer or a TV linked to your computer.

The concert starts at 2 p.m. and includes an appearance by Rene's sister Gina, who was also on the Simon Cowell-produced TV show.
