Suspect In Ben Lomond Shooting Arrested

BREAKING: Austin Combs, 28, was arrested at a home in Boulder Creek, according to the sheriff's office.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A suspect in a July shooting in Ben Lomond was arrested on Thursday morning, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office. The shooting was reported at about 5:45 a.m. in the 8400 block of Hihn Road, sheriff's officials said. The victim was shot in the face after an argument and taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

Police quickly identified 28-year-old Austin Combs as a suspect and publicly released his photo seeking tips on his whereabouts. Combs was arrested at about 10 a.m. Thursday at a home in Boulder
Creek, according to the sheriff's office.
