UC-Santa Cruz Police Search For Suspect In Alleged Sexual Assault
Police are looking for a person who attempted to sexually assault a student asleep in a dorm at the University of California at Santa Cruz.

SANTA CRUZ - Police are looking for a person who attempted to sexually assault a student asleep in a dorm at the University of California at Santa Cruz on Saturday.
The female student was sleeping in her room at the school's Porter College when the suspect came in around 4 a.m. Saturday, police Chief Nader Oweis said in a message to the campus.
The suspect tried to assault the student, but fled when she confronted him, Oweis said.

The suspect is described as a medium-sized male, possibly Caucasian, with either wavy light brown hair or dirty blond hair, Oweis said.
