UC Santa Cruz Student Still Missing
Dane Elkins was reported missing Dec. 21 and has not been seen since.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a University of California, Santa Cruz student who went missing Dec. 21.
Dane Elkins, 21, has green eyes, brown hair and stands at 5'11. He weighs about 170 pounds. Elkins' last known location was in the Grapevine area, at Interstate 5 southbound and Templin Highway.
"Dane is suffering from mental illness and is in need of urgent care," a missing persons poster reads. "Follow him discreetly and take some photos to identify him."

His missing persons case is #20008-17726 with the Los Angeles Police Department. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
