The Santa Cruz Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify the woman shown on this video.
SANTA CRUZ - Investigators with the Santa Cruz Police Department are asking for your help in identifying the woman seen in this video who appears to be stealing someone's mail.
Police say the woman approached a home in the 700 block of Escalona Drive on Tuesday, March 15 about 6:00 p.m. and rang the doorbell. When there was not an immediate reply, police say the woman began removing mail from the mailbox.
Santa Cruz Police believe the suspect was surprised when the homeowner’s voice suddenly came through an outdoor intercom, asking what she needed.

Investigators say the suspect claimed to be looking for an Airbnb, then walked away with mail.
The suspect is described as 20-30 years old, wearing a black tank top, jeans and glasses.
