Vista Fire Contained In Santa Cruz County
The fire was near Highway 17 and Vista Drive.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Firefighters 100% contained the vegetation fire that ignited in Santa Cruz County Monday, Cal Fire reported just after 6:30 Monday night.
The Vista Fire initially scorched 2 acres quickly.
The fire started near Highway 17 and Vista Drive around 2:40 p.m., the agency reported. It burned mostly grass and brush.
