Wind Advisory Issued for Santa Cruz Co.: NWS
BREAKING: Officials say the gusts could make driving difficult and could result in power outages.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the San Francisco Bay Area that will take effect tonight. The advisory will be in effect from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
According to weather officials, southerly winds could reach 30 mph with gusts of over 40 mph in lower elevations. Gusts are expected to be over 50 mph in higher elevations.
Winds could make driving difficult and result in downed trees and power outages, NWS officials said.
