Woman Plunges 100 Feet, Rescued By Firefighters: See

She was visiting a local landmark when she fell, Cal Fire said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Firefighters rescued a woman who fell at Grayhound Rock Monday near Swanton.

The woman is in stable condition, Cal Fire said.

She plunged 100 feet and was rescued by helicopter. Officials with Cal Fire, Stanford Life Flight, California State Parks and the Santa Cruz Fire Department participated in her rescue.
