Woman Rescued After Falling from Train Trestle
Rescue swimmers saved the woman in the San Lorenzo River near the Beach Boardwalk Tuesday

Santa Cruz firefighters and rescue swimmers scooped a woman out of the San Lorenzo River after she fell off the train trestle near the Boardwalk Tuesday at 7:16 p.m.
Fire crews went into the river from the Third Street Boardwalk parking lot after people spotted the woman in the water.
Two engines, one truck, 10 firefighters and a battalion chief responded. Rescue swimmers got the woman onto a rescue board and got her to Dominican Hospital by ambulance.

She had no obvious injuries, according to a fire department report.
