102-Year-Old Woman Found Dead On Santa Monica Street Corner

SANTA MONICA, CA — A 102-year-old woman was found dead on a street corner Tuesday afternoon.

The woman apparently fell from a wheelchair near the intersection of Colorado Avenue and 2nd Street about 2:30 p.m., police said.

A person found her on the ground, moved her to the shade and found she was not breathing, Santa Monica Mirror reports.

Her name was not immediately released.
